It was a beautiful evening… in fact, it was just as i had hoped for… warm, cozy, sparkly, a perfect place to pause, reflect and relax…
My friend and i managed to turn a bare room into something magical and give people a place to breathe and just be…
I got lots of lovely messages about it later, saying that “the event was great”, “the room looked lovely”, “it was relaxing and calming listening to Chilli”, also that it was a “beautiful session delivered with poise and grace” and that there were things that people “would take away from the evening”.
These made me really pleased and what inspired me even further was when i got messages from people who attended that “what they took away from it, they put into action next day” … and with that, I felt I achieved what I wanted and what I dreamed of when i was planning for this evening … take away something and just change one thing…
Just change one thing in your everyday life… and You probably already know, what is that one thing, that exact thing, that you’ve been wanting to change or do something about it … that very thing that is nagging you and you’re trying to ignore it… it’s probably the very thing you need right now…
We talked about ‘scheduled me-time’ … can you give yourself 15minutes a day alone, without devices? … and whatever you want to do, just do it… set aside that time … be consistent… take that time for yourself… prioritise… give yourself the very thing you’re craving for… give it a try and see what happens …
and watch this space… i might just invite you again to pause…
